Although the LP Ego Trippin' won't be released until March of 2008, Snoop will premiere the first single "Sensual Seduction" on BET, MTV and online distributor Rhapsody next week. Snoop tells MTV that his reason for limiting the guests on the album and its title are about establishing a legacy as a solo artist saying, "I'mma do the whole record, me by myself. I don't want no guest rappers, no singer, nothing. Just Snoop Dogg. I want you to feel me. When I think of all the greats before me...I bought Rakim's album the other day for the hundredth time, no guest rappers. I bought one of KRS-One's albums the other day for the hundredth time, no guest rappers...This record, I'm seriously ego-tripping like, 'I don't want you on my album. Nah, I don't need you.'"

Although no specific date has been laid out, Snoop Dogg has confirmed that his ninth studio album, 'Ego Trippin'', will arrive in March 2008. The first single is ready to be released, so does its music video. Snoop previously leaked the first single under the title 'Sexual Eruption' on his MySpace, but it has apparently been changed to 'Sensual Seduction'. It is an up-tempo ode to the early eighties where 'talk box' effect is added. "'Sensual Seduction' is like a throwback feel-good song," Snoop Dogg said in a statement. "I wanted to have fun with this one ... and the video is crazy." The video is reportedly directed by Melina (Eve, Ludacris) and it will take viewers back to the eighties era when the lead artist is backed by group girls, very much like Prince's Vanity 6 trio. It will also pay tribute to some of Snoop's favorite singers like like Roger Troutman, Rick James and Prince himself. The video will be premiered by MTV's TRL on November 28th and Snoop will then give personal delivery of the video the next day on BET's 106 & Park.
